Job Description

Job Summary:

The Custodial/Industrial Cleaner will clean facilities and plant.  This is a full time position with the company.  Please no contractors.  

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Sweeps, mops, vacuum's hallways, offices.
• Cleans, dusts wipe furniture.
• Empty wastebaskets.
• Sweeps, mops, sanitizes bathrooms and breakrooms
• Ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• On-the-job training offered.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, walking, bending, twisting, lifting.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to dust, fumes, smoke, gases, or other irritating substances.
• Exposure to solvents or chemicals.
• Exposure to slippery walking surfaces.
• Working surface is primarily concrete.
