Our client is a leading middle-market investment bank.

The firm is currently looking for a Vice President to join their Insurance Services practice in New York City or Chicago.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Structure and manage execution of sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions
• Support deal origination and client relationship management activities
• Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape and market dynamics to advise clients on strategic alternatives and potential buyers
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis involving financial, market and investment data and utilize financial research tools, products and systems in order to develop financial models and make informed business decisions

• The Group’s market-leading deal flow will provide Vice President's the opportunity to take part in executing a variety of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising transactions, and other strategic advisory projects.
• Promotion track and career development potential to become Managing Director
• Internal cooperation and teamwork are highly valued within the bank; externally, however, the firm has a very competitive nature when pitching to win deals

QUALIFICATIONS

• We will only consider applicants with 5-8 years of investment banking experience
• Insurance sector experience required
• Strong M&A experience required
• Must be willing to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and dig into transaction details as required
• Ability to lead and oversee the execution of client engagements and deals
• Manage and develop junior bankers in the group
