Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Laboratory Setting, Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

What You’ll Do

• Manage media/buffer requests from multiple science departments through the Media Request System.
• Prepare buffers and media (from <1L to 2000L).
• Review batch records in the Media Request System for data integrity.
• Forecast and maintain chemical and consumable inventory.
• Perform equipment calibrations and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep lab.
• Collaborate with Supervisor and Lead to address customer concerns and provide timely resolutions.
• Maintain a Safety-First Culture.
• Participate in safety initiatives (Haz IDs, JDIs, incident reporting).
• Suggest and implement process improvements.
• Support onboarding and training new team members.
• Perform other tasks within the statement of work.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to work independently.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in varied environments (cold rooms, hazardous materials, PPE required).
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $19.64–$29.45.
