About the Role:

A growing company in the oilfield services industry is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to oversee day-to-day shop operations. This leadership role is responsible for directing shop personnel, driving productivity, meeting production deadlines, and ensuring high-quality service standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with top drive units and a proven background in shop or service management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily shop operations and coordinate activities to meet company goals.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor workloads to ensure timely production and delivery.
• Ensure proper staffing, skill levels, and shop floor training to meet operational targets.
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet output and delivery expectations.
• Support company objectives as directed by the Operations Manager and COO.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and performance.
• Contribute to policy and strategic planning as needed.
• Participate in company safety and quality programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the oilfield equipment industry.
• Experience with Varco, Tesco, or Canrig top drive units required.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms.
• Extended periods of sitting and computer use.
• Occasional light lifting of materials or equipment.
• Exposure to various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
