As a **Security Professional - School Patrol Lead** in **Philadelphia, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents through regular visibility and attentive presence. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with those on site. By supporting a secure environment, you will play an important part in fostering a welcoming atmosphere. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the educational environment.
+ Help to deter unauthorized activity by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter areas.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and maintaining awareness of individuals on the property.
+ Document security-related incidents and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
+ Support emergency response efforts in alignment with location policies and procedures, when appropriate.
+ Collaborate with campus staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
+ Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
