Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality outpatient cardiovascular nursing care using evidence-based practice
• Perform patient assessments, interviews, and review medical history and medications
• Support cardiac diagnostics including stress testing and cardiopulmonary monitoring
• Perform IV insertions and administer IV medications as ordered
• Monitor telemetry, vital signs, and patient responses during diagnostic testing or rehab sessions
• Respond to emergency situations following ACLS protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on cardiovascular disease, risk factors, and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Support quality improvement initiatives and patient safety standards

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills; Room or perioperative experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Acute care surgical setting
• Collaborative, team-based OR environment
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Additional Requirements:
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
