The Quality Assurance Engineer role in Austin, TX, is a 12-month contract position focused on ensuring software quality through test case creation, execution, and automation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software usability, the SDLC, and experience with various testing tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities:
- Writing and executing test cases.
- Creating test plans.
- Ensuring requirements traceability.
- Writing and executing tests automation.
- Conducting API Testing and automation.
- Utilizing accessibility testing tools.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in writing and executing test cases, as well as creating test plans.
- Knowledge of software usability concepts and requirements traceability, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.
- Strong SQL query knowledge (Create, Read, Update, Delete).
- Experience in writing and executing tests automation using UFT.
- Experience in conducting API Testing and automation using Postman, SOAPUI, JMETER or similar.
- Experience utilizing accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Knowledge of Xray Test Case management tool and Jira Project management tool.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.
