NETWORK ENGINEER – LEVEL 3

Location: Sartell, MN (Hybrid)

Salary: $100,000–$120,000

About the Role

We are adding a Level 3 Network Engineer to lead high-impact infrastructure projects, architect network solutions, and serve as a top-tier escalation resource. This role combines strategic design work with hands-on implementation across a mix of onsite and remote client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and support advanced network solutions across firewalls, switching, routing, wireless, and VoIP technologies.
• Serve as the highest-level networking escalation for complex issues across client environments.
• Lead major upcoming network projects—upgrades, redesigns, migrations, wireless overhauls, and VoIP expansions.
• Conduct network assessments and design secure, scalable solutions tailored to client needs.
• Manage integrations, security hardening, redundancy planning, and performance optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with leadership on best practices and technology strategy.
• Balance onsite field work with remote engineering based on project demands.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10+ years of advanced network engineering experience, ideally in an MSP or consulting environment.
• Expert-level experience with:
• Firewalls (Fortinet, SonicWall, Cisco, etc.)
• Advanced switching & routing (Layer 3, STP, OSPF/BGP familiarity, VLAN design)
• Wireless design & deployment
• VoIP systems and network-level QoS
• Strong experience designing and implementing complex network topologies.
• Ability to manage enterprise-level or multi-site projects end-to-end.
• Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent advanced certifications.
• Experience with server/VM environments or hybrid roles (valued given prior strong candidates with blended experience).
• Proven success in managing high-impact, multi-technology network projects.
