Join Dollar General as a Merchandise Assistant (Domestics) and help ensure smooth product flow from vendors to stores. This role is critical to supporting our merchandising team, distribution centers, and field operations—ultimately driving customer satisfaction and company growth.

🔍 Experience in merchandising support, buying coordination, or inventory planning preferred
🔍 Strong Excel and data management skills required
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field preferred
✅ What You’ll Do:
• Enter and revise non-core merchandise orders in Island Pacific System.
• Track merchandise flow from vendor to distribution center to store.
• Maintain department reports, spreadsheets, and analysis for line reviews.
• Serve as problem-resolution contact for distribution centers and stores.
• Communicate with vendors regarding production details and timelines.
• Organize and maintain product samples for review, photography, and plan-o-gram setup.
• Review samples for artwork, packaging, and product specifications; process final approvals.
• Set up and maintain SKU, UPC, and vendor information accurately.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective oral and written communication skills for interaction with vendors and internal teams.
• Highly motivated, dependable, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation tools.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work in a global environment.
