Ready to make a meaningful impact and secure a stable, long-term government contract? We are seeking five dedicated Medical Supply Technicians (MSTs) to join the essential support team at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, KY.

As an MST, you are the backbone of patient safety, ensuring every surgical instrument and piece of reusable medical equipment is perfectly processed for our nation's Veterans.

What You Will Do

• Sterile Processing Expert: Clean, sterilize, assemble, and distribute surgical instruments and Reusable Medical Equipment (RME).
• Quality Assurance: Operate specialized sterilizers and washers, performing crucial quality checks and biological testing according to VA and industry standards.
• Inventory Management: Manage hospital supply inventory and deliver critical supplies directly to patient care areas.
• Safety Focus: Partner with clinical teams to ensure equipment availability and prevent procedural delays.

Qualifications We Are Seeking

• Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, PLUS 1+ year of experience in sterile processing, central supply, or surgical instrumentation (highly preferred).
• Knowledge: Familiarity with sterile technique, infection control, and surgical instrument identification.
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing and mobility.
• Commitment: Must be willing to complete all VA background checks, immunizations, and strict onboarding requirements.
