Mechanical/Piping Inspector – Water & Wastewater Infrastructure

We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical/Piping Inspector to support ongoing water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the Phoenix area. This is a long-term, full-time role offering stability, competitive compensation, and excellent benefits.

What You’ll Do

• Perform detailed inspections on mechanical and piping systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings for constructability and compliance.
• Document all work through daily reports, photo logs, and as-built records.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and owners to ensure adherence to project standards.
• Monitor site safety, quality, and construction progress.
• Provide field support on outages, repairs, and system tie-ins.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of relevant construction or inspection experience.
• Experience in water/wastewater or public works projects required.
• Knowledge of mechanical/piping systems , building codes, and inspection methods.
• Completion of OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety training.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain detailed inspection records.
• Technical or construction-related degree/certifications preferred.
