Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to oversee and execute the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to lead a team to ensure high-quality installations while adhering to safety and company standards.
Key Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
- Install and retrofit HVAC systems, including chillers, CRAC units, RTUs, split systems, package units, air handlers, and boilers.
- Perform system start-ups and ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct wiring and brazing tasks as needed for installations.
- Provide training and guidance to junior installers and team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all installation activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC training program preferred.
- Valid HVAC technician license and relevant certifications.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation and retrofit work.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and components.
- Proficient in electrical wiring, brazing, and system start-ups.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
