Key Responsibilities

Business & Market Leadership

  • Full P&L ownership for the North American business
  • Define and execute regional growth strategy aligned with global objectives
  • Deep understanding of U.S. market dynamics within ag-tech, environmental, sustainability, or climate-driven industries
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams

Commercial Execution

  • Lead enterprise and channel sales in long-cycle, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Drive revenue growth, retention, and expansion across strategic accounts
  • Oversee pricing strategy, forecasting, pipeline management, and contract negotiations
  • Act as executive sponsor for key customers, partners, and strategic alliances

Team & Organizational Leadership

  • Build, lead, and develop cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Field, Partnerships)
  • Create a strong performance culture with clear accountability and execution discipline
  • Attract, retain, and develop senior talent in a competitive U.S. market

Operational & Strategic Alignment

  • Serve as the primary interface between global HQ and the North American market
  • Localize global strategy while maintaining alignment and operational consistency
  • Partner closely with Product, R&D, Marketing, and Finance leadership
  • Provide clear insights, reporting, and recommendations to executive leadership and the board

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Senior leadership experience as General Manager, Business Unit Head, Country Manager, or equivalent
  • Proven P&L ownership and revenue accountability
  • Strong commercial background with enterprise or strategic sales experience
  • Background in ag-tech, environmental, sustainability, climate-tech, food-tech, or adjacent B2B technology sectors
  • Experience scaling regional operations in growth-stage or global organizations
  • Strategic yet hands-on leadership style with a strong execution mindset
  • Comfortable operating in global, matrixed environments
  • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder-management skills
