Location: - Klamath Falls, OR

Full Time

Position Summary:

The Electrical HB Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the electrical and control systems within, and in support of, the hardboard facility. This position supervises the facility’s electricians to ensure the team’s work on electrical, instrument, and computer systems supports optimal operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Comply with safety standards at all times and correct/report any observed safety hazards.
  • Supervise the installation, service, repair, and replacement of electrical systems, motors, and electrical control devices.
  • Supervise the operation of PLCs, HMIs, and network communications to optimize operations.
  • Monitor the operation of electrical equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime and identify opportunities for improving systems.
  • Ensure the work of the electrical team is in accordance with relevant codes.
  • Train, develop, support, and oversee electrical apprentices to ensure successful achievement of earning electrical license.
  • Responsible for the verification of the proper completion of work performed by electrical apprentices.
  • Participate in capital project design, installation, and startup.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage the electrical team.
  • Responsible for performance management of direct reports in accordance with company values, objectives, and policies.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, training, and support consistent with developing and sustaining a high-performing and accountable team.

Education and Experience:

  • Possession of an Oregon Supervising Electrician license is preferred, or the candidate must obtain the license within one year of employment.

Required Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Individuals must be willing to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Positions may require additional PPE at specific times. Examples of PPE which may be required include high visibility garments, hand protection, eye protection, hearing protection, a hard hat, foot protection, and a face shield
