Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Design Engineer for a client in Michigan. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical design, a passion for learning, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. This role involves developing and refining machine designs, with a focus on CNC machinery or precision equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems, with a focus on CNC machinery or related precision equipment.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D models and technical drawings using best modeling practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, quality, and cost requirements.
• Apply sound engineering principles to solve complex design challenges and develop innovative solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback constructively.
• Maintain organized documentation and adhere to internal design standards and processes.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve design efficiency and product performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in machine design, preferably in CNC or precision equipment industries.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of work.
• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in 3D modeling software.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and accept constructive feedback.
