Role
The analyst will diligence public equities investments with a focused universe. She/he will receive mentorship to develop into a primary risk-taker with proven competence and contribution. Analysts are the alpha engine driving our strategy and business and this role has potential for unbounded impact and compensation.
Start date ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with a PM on developing investment ideas
- Develop and maintain detailed company financial models with a focus on the KPI's driving value
- Conduct primary research and review public filings
- Develop long-term relationships through dialog with management teams of corporate issuers
- Contribute alpha generating investment ideas to the portfolio
Qualifications
- Passion for investing
- Intellectual curiosity
- Financial modeling experience (likely developed in a prior hedge fund, equity research, investment banking, private equity or long-only buyside role)
- Prior long/short public equity experience could be helpful, but not required
- Evidence of academic success
